The club membership provides our members with two fields on which to fly our planes from,and instructors to teach new members how to fly.
We are a non-profit organization and our aim is to promote the sport of radio control flying.
M.A.A.C is the governing body in Canada for radio control flying and provides us with guidelines and liability insurance.
Our membership dues cover the cost of event"s renting and maintaining our fields and providing members with a monthly newletter.
The club also host special events yearly,such as the Garth Mitchell Anual Floatfly at the Chippawa Conservation Area and other events such as our anual Funfly,Mallshow ans Flight demonstrations for special events.
For those who do not yet know how to fly ,our club provides instructors to teach new members how to fly.
The instruction program starts in early May and continues to September.
All summer there are instructors on Tuesday's and Thursday's from 5.30 pm till dark (weather permitting)

Membership Dues : 

The club membership fees are,

For adults, $100.00 cnd per year,For members under the age of 18 $50.00 cnd per year, For members children under 18 $20.00 cnd per year

M.A.A.C.( Model Aeronautic Association of Canada) insurance is also required to fly at our field www.maac.ca
  This is an additional $80.72 cnd per year.
The Regional Model Flying Club Inc has monthly meetings between September and June on the second Monday of each month.
The meeting take place at the Harbour Fellowship Church,located at 51 South Service rd in St Catharines On,Meetings start at 7.30pm and usualy last untill 9.30pm.

The meetings for 2010 are on,Feb the 8th,March the 8th,April the 12th,May the 10th,June the 14th,No meetings in July and August,Sept the 13th,Oct the 18th,Nov the 8th,Dec the 13th.

Club Rules
The Niagara Region Model Flying Club Inc.

Field Rules

Revised: November 8, 2010

1. Radio control flying only is permitted.

2. A club member must accompany guests. A guest is a person who has not

been a member of the NRMFC for one year. A maximum of three guest visits per membership

year will be permitted. (Invitational fly-ins not included)

3. All fliers must have a valid M.A.A.C. membership. (Or American equivalent)

4. Mufflers are required on all engines over 0.052 cu. in.

5. Channel identification is required on all 72 MHz transmitter antennas.

6. If transmitting on 72 MHz, a frequency pin clearly showing the flier’s frequency channel and

name must be in place on the frequency board whenever a transmitter is turned on. When the

transmitter is not in use, the frequency clip must be removed from the frequency board.

7. Frequency pins must only cover the frequency in use, which means that all transmitters must

transmit narrow band or 2.4 GHz.

8. No taxiing in the pit area.

9. No flying over the pit, spectator or parking areas.

10. Modellers shall have the current club and M.A.A.C. membership cards available when flying.

11. In consideration of our neighbours, no running of internal combustion engines is permitted

before 9:00 am on Monday to Saturday inclusive and not before 9:30 am on Sunday.

12. (a). A NO-FLY ZONE has been designated north of the Brock field so that no flying takes

place anywhere over the Brock baseball diamonds and parking area.

(b). No flying over the property north of the Brock field when people are working in the area.

13. (a) A NO-FLY ZONE has been designated over the neighbour’s property and horse pasture

to the east of the Walker’s field.

(b) Pilots flying jets at the Walker’s Field, need to use a spotter to ensure their aircraft do not

over fly any of the NO-FLY ZONES

14. An approved club instructor must check out all new members claiming to have their wings

before they will be allowed to fly on their own.

15. Students (without wings) may only fly with an approved club instructor using a buddy box

until he/she has met the NRMFC Inc. wings requirements as outlined in the training manual.

16. Members will also adhere to the M.A.A.C. safety code. (found at www.maac.ca
